Modern Equipment is pleased to introduce our newest innovation, the Micro furnace Jet Melter. The Micro Jet Melter furnace has been engineered to efficiently, cost effectively and continuously melt up to 500-800 pounds of aluminum per hour.

Furnace Description

Modern’s Micro Jet Melter is a non-crucible furnace similar in design to Modern’s proven Jet Melter aluminum melting furnace. Ingot & scrap are charged through the top of the stack section of the furnace. Charge materials are pre-heated by the flue gases that exit through the stack section. The melt burner at the bottom of the stack heats the aluminum to its melting point. The metal then flows into the bath section, where it is super-heated to the desired temperature. The aluminum is then dipped or pumped out of the standard dipwell on the side of the bath section.
