Nitrogen Generator (HND)

Gas Atmospheres patented Model HND Nitrogen Generators are uniquely practical in design, utilizing modern molecular sieve gas separation techniques, added to the many Gas Atmospheres advances for automatic continuous system operation. Product purity can be adjusted between 90% and 99+% while dewpoint remains below -50°F.  Options are available which will raise the hydrogen content to 10% while reducing carbon monoxide to 0.2%. High pressure compressors are not required with our standard design. The "Packaged" concept offers easy access to all components - - designed with operators, as well as process, in mind with SAFETY CONTROLS for automatic shutdown in event of utility failure.

Gas Atmospheres provides efficient single source responsibility. All generator design, engineering, and assembly is accomplished within the Gas Atmospheres plant, under direct supervision of experienced personnel.

The flexibility of our Model HND Nitrogen Generator generator is demonstrated by the fact it is used for nitrogen based carburizing, bright annealing of carbon steels, malleable iron and spheroidizing. In food packaging, the -50°F (-45°C) dewpoint preserves crisp freshness in dry products; such as crackers, nuts, and cereals. In chemical plants it is used for purging electrical panels and instruments, blanketing and backfilling tank trucks, containers, process lines, and reactor vessels.

In addition to the standard features, the following auxiliary equipment is available for nitrogen generator:

• Carbon dioxide, oxygen and combustibles analyzers
• High pressure compressors 3-Bed system for constant flow
• Local and remote annunciators
• Refrigerant & Desiccant gas dryers
• Heat recovery-Steam or hot water
• Catalyst purifier to reduce oxygen or carbon monoxide to less than 10 PPM.
